About the position

The Front-End Developer - IV position is focused on creating and maintaining web and hybrid mobile applications. The role involves developing dynamic front-end applications from design concepts to implementation, ensuring compatibility and quality in a fast-paced Agile environment. The developer will work closely with business stakeholders and QA teams to enhance existing websites and develop new products and features.

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining web and hybrid mobile applications.
• Developing dynamic front-end applications from design concept to implementation.
• Writing JavaScript to interact with industry standard libraries for rich client interactions.
• Gathering requirements and input from business stakeholders for maintenance and enhancement of existing websites.
• Collaborating with QA and Development teams to ensure compatibility and quality of applications.
• Engaging in front-end development in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Hands-on development with front-end technologies including AngularJS, Ember, Backbone, node.js, Cordova, and Rails.
• Building cross-device hybrid mobile applications on iOS and Android.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in front-end development.
• Strong skills in web and mobile design, including HTML5, CSS, PostCSS, SASS, AJAX, and JavaScript.
• Experience with frameworks such as Aurelia.js and React Native (Flexbox).
• Knowledge of automated testing, issue tracking, and source control tools.
• Strong user interface design skills and usability analysis.
• Experience with responsive design patterns.
• Understanding of RESTful web-architectures and Services Oriented Architecture.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in high volume, customer-centric web and mobile applications.
• Experience with commerce sites and multivariate testing.
