About the position

We are seeking a talented Front-End Developer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience and a strong proficiency in UI design. The ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge of back-end functionality, particularly in building on top of databases. This position is offered on a remote or hybrid basis, project-based, and as needed (PRN). Candidates located in the DFW or Houston areas are preferred. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring that the user interfaces developed are intuitive and engaging, with a strong focus on user experience. The developer will also be responsible for ensuring the technical feasibility of designs and implementing them accordingly, while staying updated on emerging trends and best practices in design and development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Build on top of databases to enhance back-end functionality
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in design and development

Requirements

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX development
• Strong UI design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail
• Solid knowledge of back-end functionality, particularly in working with databases
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies
• Experience with responsive and mobile design
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• GitHub account to see previous work done
• Experience with Front End technologies working with AWS and Azure (Microsoft)
