About the position

The Front End Developer position at Capgemini involves working as a senior software engineer on the Subaru Connected Vehicle team. This role focuses on creating innovative solutions for Subaru customers, primarily in web and mobile frontend development. The developer will collaborate with backend developers, business analysts, designers, and dev-ops engineers to implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend developers and business analysts to design and implement frontend solutions.
• Translate product, UX, and UI requirements into code implementation.
• Engage proactively with teammates to brainstorm and solve problems creatively.
• Develop high-quality iOS applications using Swift and Swift UI.
• Participate in unit and integration testing to ensure application quality.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with React/React Native or Flutter.
• 8+ years of experience developing high-volume, consumer-facing client applications.
• 4+ years of experience building high-quality iOS applications.
• Proficiency in Modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Swift, Swift UI, UI Kit, Combine, and the iOS toolchain.
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with Redux, Redux Toolkit, and RTK Query.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience building WatchOS apps and iOS widgets.
• Demonstrated contributions to apps in the App Store.
