About the position

The Front End Developer at Asembia LLC is responsible for creating and maintaining user-friendly web applications. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality software delivery while adhering to web accessibility standards and responsive design principles.

Responsibilities

• Review UI/UX designs and interpret requirements to develop features.
• Build front end web pages that replicate designs in a mobile-friendly format.
• Implement new looks and feels by modifying existing code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Apply responsive design concepts to ensure applications are viewable on various screen sizes.
• Create front end code for user input validation, page navigation, and other interactive elements.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.0+ standards through accessibility concepts in coding.
• Design, test, and develop software to meet business requirements.
• Minimize code duplication and enhance reuse by developing separate application elements.
• Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing problems and proposed solutions.
• Create documentation, flowcharts, and clear code comments for better understanding.
• Maintain functionality of applications during software maintenance and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years of hands-on front end development experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with responsive layouts and proper CSS structure.
• Familiarity with Figma for UI/UX design is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET or C# is a plus.
• Knowledge of pharmacy, healthcare, HIPAA/HITRUST, and secure coding practices is a plus.
