About the position

The Front End Developer at Melink Corporation will play a crucial role in enhancing existing applications and developing new ones to support the company's growth in the energy efficiency and renewable energy sector. This full-time position focuses on creating an excellent user experience and improving application efficiency, reporting directly to the VP of Technology.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Technology & Development Team to develop specifications for software projects
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance user experience
• Execute front end development of Melink applications
• Utilize software development best practices
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering/software discipline or equivalent experience
• Experience developing in React
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL data structures
• Ability to create UI mockups for UX enhancement
• Understanding of responsive and reactive UI/UX principles
• Experience with cross-platform mobile frameworks such as Ionic is a plus
• Continuous Integration experience on any platform is a plus
• Experience with code repositories (SVN and GIT)
• Experience with Full Stack development is a plus
• Strong aptitude for learning
• Desire to develop
• Understanding of software security best practices
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work successfully with all levels of the organization
• Positive attitude and high energy level
• High level of integrity and strong accountability
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
