About the position

The Front End React Developer will be part of a UI team working on the Smart Network Platform (SNP) at Comcast. This role focuses on managing thousands of devices within one of the largest cable networks, utilizing micro-services to configure, manage, and visualize the network. The developer will work on expanding and improving the system, designing new components, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate UX team wireframes into Views in React
• Manage projects through design, development, and QA phases
• Participate in SAFE Agile methodologies
• Work on Node.js API layer
• Oversee testing and develop fixes
• Engage in progressive redesign and maintenance projects
• Develop new user-facing features
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Validate all user input before submitting to back-end
• Participate in code reviews
• Identify blockers and apply creative solutions
• Stay updated on current trends in web development

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and WebPack
• Experience with containerization and Jenkins Continuous Integration
• Familiarity with Linux
