About the position

Mindbank Consulting Group has an immediate need for a Front-End Developer with strong Angular experience and an active Secret Clearance. This position is hybrid, requiring one day per week onsite in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and is not a remote position. The role is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $125,000, complemented by an impressive benefits package. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications and user interfaces using AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new features and functionality. You will work closely with product owners and stakeholders to gather and better understand requirements and user needs. Your responsibilities will also include creating clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, and troubleshooting and debugging issues as they arise. Staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development is essential, as is participating in daily stand-up meetings via VTC.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web applications and user interfaces using AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new features and functionality.
• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to gather and better understand requirements and user needs.
• Create clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
• Attend and participate in daily stand-up meetings via VTC.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor of Science in a relevant Engineering or Computer major.
• Minimum of 4 years of paid, professional, and recent software development experience, of which a minimum of 3 years must be in front-end development.
• Must have professional experience with Angular/AngularJS.
• Experience with HTML and CSS, including CSS frameworks such as Material Design, Bootstrap, or Foundation.
• Experienced in UI development, data analysis and visualization, and software design.
• Familiarity/light experience using Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and three-week sprints.
• Experience developing for the Cloud (AWS, Azure) and closed environments.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; clearly, concisely, and completely conveying information the first time.
