BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Front-End Developer for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC. This position is a full-time contract role with an anticipated start date as soon as possible, although this date is subject to change. The expected duration of the contract is 12 months. The Front-End Developer will be responsible for developing, debugging, maintaining, and testing frontend applications, specifically focusing on US bank regulatory applications. The role requires adherence to UX principles to ensure that user needs are met effectively. The developer will work under minimal supervision, receiving general guidance from a manager or other leads. A significant aspect of this role involves standing up new scrum teams for Financial Regulatory Reporting Automation work, with a large focus on developing React Single Page Applications (SPAs) using cutting-edge frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ReactJS, TypeScript, and MaterialUI, along with experience in unit testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library. The position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in ReactJS and familiarity with Financial Reporting and Node.js. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of high-quality applications that meet regulatory standards and enhance user experience.
