About the position

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Software Developer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate will possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph preferred, or a Top Secret clearance willing to sit for a CI Poly. This role involves developing and maintaining user-facing features for our web applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. You will work closely with back-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, and HTML to create dynamic and responsive web applications. Your experience with the Vue.js framework will be crucial in building efficient and reusable components. You will also be involved in Agile Development methodologies, including SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support junior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance and mentorship as they develop their skills. You will also be tasked with designing new UI features and conducting unit testing to ensure the functionality and performance of the applications. A solid understanding of REST APIs and experience with creating REST calls using Node.js libraries such as Express.js or Axios will be essential for this position.
