About the position

VTG is seeking a talented and experienced Front End Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team in multiple locations across the DC Metro Area. As a Front End Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and back-end developers, to bring visually appealing and intuitive user experiences to life. This role is crucial in ensuring that our web applications are not only functional but also engaging and accessible to all users. In this position, you will collaborate with our design and development teams to create user-friendly web interfaces. You will be responsible for translating design concepts into responsive and interactive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimizing web applications for various devices and screen sizes will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will implement and maintain web accessibility standards to ensure inclusivity for all users. Testing and debugging web applications will be part of your daily tasks, where you will identify and resolve issues promptly to maintain a high standard of quality. You will also use version control systems to manage the codebase and collaborate effectively with your team members. Staying updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and best practices will be essential to your success in this role, as it will allow you to contribute innovative ideas and solutions to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our design and development teams to create user-friendly web interfaces.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with React and/or other modern front-end libraries/frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of responsive web design principles.
  • Familiarity with web development tools and build systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
