About the position

As a Front-End Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of web applications, focusing on creating user-friendly interfaces and ensuring a seamless user experience. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph preferred, or a willingness to obtain one if you hold a Top Secret clearance. You will be working in a dynamic environment that emphasizes Agile methodologies, including SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban, to deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing your expertise in front-end web development technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, and HTML. You will be expected to work with the Vue.js framework to design and implement new user interface features, ensuring they are both functional and visually appealing. Additionally, you will create REST calls using Node.js libraries, including Express.js or Axios, to facilitate communication between the front-end and back-end systems. In this role, you will also support junior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance and mentorship as they develop their skills. Your experience with unit testing will be essential in maintaining the quality of the codebase, and your knowledge of REST APIs will help you integrate various services effectively. Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance front-end web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, and HTML.
• Utilize the Vue.js framework to design and implement new user interface features.
• Create REST calls using Node.js libraries, including Express.js or Axios.
• Support junior and mid-level engineers by providing guidance and mentorship.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Integrate REST APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly preferred or a Top Secret clearance willing to sit for a CI Poly.
• Experience with front-end web development technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, and HTML.
• Proficiency in the Vue.js framework.
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Experience creating REST calls with Node.js libraries, including Express.js or Axios.
• Experience supporting junior and mid-level engineers.
• Experience designing new user interface features.
• Knowledge of REST APIs.
