About the position

The Front End Developer at HCLTech is responsible for designing and developing user interfaces using a modern tech stack, primarily focusing on HTML5, React, JavaScript, and CSS. This role involves mentoring a team of front-end developers and leading JavaScript architecture, with a strong emphasis on understanding geometry and mechanical design relevant to the manufacturing and automotive industries.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop front-end applications using HTML5, React, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Develop UI handlers for improved user interaction.
• Mentor a team of front-end developers technically.
• Lead the architecture of JavaScript applications.
• Apply knowledge of geometry and mechanical design in development tasks.
• Collaborate with backend developers using Python and MongoDB.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in front-end development.
• 1 year of experience with CSS.
• 1 year of experience with React.
• Strong understanding of geometry and mechanical design.
• Knowledge of the mechanical/manufacturing domain, particularly in the automotive industry.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Bootstrap framework.
• Familiarity with Python for backend development.
