About the position

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Front-End Developer in Littleton, CO for a 3 month contract-to-hire (CTH) position. This role is 100% onsite and focuses on the development and maintenance of an internal web application aimed at effective data visualization. The Front-End Developer will be involved in creating future tools and applications, requiring a strong foundation in current front-end development practices and adaptability to new technologies. The position emphasizes the importance of user-friendly design and responsive interfaces to ensure compatibility across various devices. In this role, the Front-End Developer will utilize technologies such as HTML5, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript to build and enhance the web application. Collaboration with a backend team is essential for seamless data integration, and the developer will be expected to implement coding best practices with a focus on performance and security. The position also requires a strong portfolio that demonstrates previous development projects, particularly in data visualization, and a solid understanding of responsive and adaptive web design principles.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Knowledgeable in REST API integration and handling complex data structures
  • Proven track record in building web applications, especially for data visualization
  • Proficient in responsive and adaptive web design
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js)
  • Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API)
  • Proficient in version control (Git)
