About the position

The Front End Developer role is focused on creating and maintaining user-facing features for web applications. The position requires a strong background in React.js and a solid understanding of web accessibility standards, ensuring compliance with ADA, WCAG 2.1, and Section 508. The developer will work in a hybrid environment, contributing to projects using various Java frameworks and participating in Agile development processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js.
• Ensure compliance with ADA, WCAG 2.1, and Section 508 standards.
• Collaborate with UX designers to implement design principles and standards.
• Utilize HTML5 and CSS frameworks for responsive web design.
• Program using Java and relevant IDE tools such as Eclipse/Jboss Developer Studio.
• Work with JPA framework and Spring framework for backend integration.
• Participate in Agile development processes and team meetings.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with React.js.
• 5 years of experience with HTML5 and CSS frameworks.
• 5 years of experience with ADA, WCAG 2.1, and Section 508 compliance policies.
• 3 years of experience with current Java, including IDE tools like Eclipse/Jboss Developer Studio.
• 2 years of experience programming with JPA framework.
• 2 years of experience programming with Spring framework.
• 2 years of experience with Spring Boot and Spring Data.
• 3 years of experience programming with Java 8+.
• 2 years of experience in an Agile development environment.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of experience programming in the JBOSS Enterprise environment.
