About the position

The Front-End Software Developer position is focused on developing user interfaces and enhancing the user experience for web applications. The role requires a strong understanding of front-end technologies and frameworks, particularly Vue.js, and involves collaboration within an Agile development environment. The developer will also support junior engineers and contribute to the design of new UI features.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, and HTML.
• Utilize the Vue.js framework for building user interfaces.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
• Create REST calls using Node.js libraries such as Express.js or Axios.
• Support junior and mid-level engineers in their development tasks.
• Design and implement new UI features based on project requirements.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Work with REST APIs to integrate front-end applications with back-end services.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly preferred or a Top Secret clearance willing to sit for a CI Poly.
• Experience in front-end web development with JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, or HTML.
• Proficiency in the Vue.js framework.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Experience in creating REST calls using Node.js libraries like Express.js or Axios.
• Ability to support and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Experience in designing new UI features and conducting unit testing.
• Knowledge of REST APIs.
