About the position

The Front-End Developer will collaborate with graphic designers, web designers, and UX designers to enhance front-end interfaces for an award-winning web and software development firm. This role requires a strong focus on creating innovative solutions and translating mock-ups into functional interfaces, while also engaging in direct client communication and project planning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with graphic designers, web designers, and UX designers to improve front-end interfaces.
• Translate mock-ups and prototypes into functional work interfaces.
• Engage in direct client communication and project planning.
• Lead browser/device acceptance testing and bug fixes.
• Deliver quality work within budget and meet deadlines.
• Work alongside a team of UX designers, front-end developers, and back-end developers to customize solutions.

Requirements

• Strong experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with JavaScript, particularly JQuery frameworks.
• Desire to learn or previous experience with Node, Require, Backbone, or other advanced JavaScript skills.
• Previous experience with Grunt.
• Ability to deliver quality work within budget and meet deadlines.
• Experience with responsive layouts and understanding of responsive frameworks.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous consulting experience is a major plus.
• Familiarity with additional JavaScript frameworks.
