About the position

KUBRA is seeking a talented Front End Developer to join their Product Engineering Department. This role involves building large client-side web applications from scratch using various technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Redux, and AWS Cloud. The position is hybrid, based out of the Tempe, AZ office, and offers opportunities for collaboration and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design of new functionality and expand existing functionality
• Work on large applications entirely in JavaScript ES6/TypeScript
• Collaborate with other engineering teams via 'Guilds' to develop departmental standards
• Work collaboratively with API developers to ensure API features support the interface
• Plan, balance, and participate in sprints containing bug fixes, feature requests, and new product development
• Support existing JavaScript code bases with bug fixes or enhancements
• Work with Designers to build out GUIs for KUBRA applications

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Front End Development
• Proficiency in JavaScript is required
• Experience with HTML and CSS preprocessors
• Experience with React is preferred
• Previous experience in Webpack is preferred
• Ability to write JavaScript tests and JavaScript testing frameworks
• Experience with TypeScript is a bonus

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additional JavaScript frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
