About the position

EarthCam is seeking an experienced and creative Front-End Developer to join their growing team. The role involves developing high-quality code, providing innovative recommendations for web technologies, and mentoring junior developers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in JavaScript and ReactJS, and will be responsible for assessing technical feasibility and architecting front-end code structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality code following established development processes
• Provide informed, innovative recommendations regarding the use of HTML/CSS/JavaScript (preferably ReactJS)/NodeJS to meet a variety of business needs
• Assess the technical feasibility of proposed functional designs
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in Internet technologies
• Architect front-end code structures, recommend/spear-head changes in existing codebase
• Mentor junior developers and assist if any code issues arise
• Perform front-end code reviews

Requirements

• BS/MS in CS/CE or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of corporate experience with JavaScript
• 5+ years of corporate experience with React JS
• Must be a team player & a focused problem-solver
• PHP/LAMP/MySQL or any database experience is a plus
• Experience with Git/Jira/Confluence, good writing abilities, is a plus
