About the position

The FrontEnd Developer position is focused on supporting the client development program by collaborating with development project teams, UI/UX designers, and business analysts. The role involves developing and maintaining reusable UI components that are accessible, performant, scalable, and robust, with a strong emphasis on compliance with ADA and WCAG 2.1 standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable UI components.
• Collaborate with development project teams, UI/UX designers, and business analysts.
• Ensure components are accessible, performant, scalable, and robust.
• Test development for accessibility using Jaws reader and browser plugins.

Requirements

• Strong background with React.js (5 years).
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS Frameworks (5 years).
• Strong knowledge of ADA, WCAG 2.1, Section 508 compliance policies, and User Experience design principles (5 years).
• Experience with current JAVA and relevant IDE tools such as Eclipse/Jboss Developer Studio (3 years).
• Experience programming in projects using JPA framework (2 years).
• Experience programming in projects using current Spring framework (2 years).
• Experience programming with Spring Boot and Spring Data (2 years).
• Experience programming with Java 8+ (3 years).
• Experience participating as a programmer within an Agile development environment (2 years).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience programming in the JBOSS Enterprise environment (2 years).
