About the position

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with a strong background in either Angular or React frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing user-friendly web applications and a deep understanding of front-end technologies. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-quality software solutions that meet client needs. The developer will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work closely with designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the application. The position is based in Virginia, New York, or Illinois, and offers the opportunity to work with prestigious clients in the financial sector, including Capital One, Finra, Walmart, Comcast, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Fidelity, DTCC, and Discover Financial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-friendly web applications using Angular or React.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create seamless user experiences.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with expertise in Angular or React.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with clients in the financial sector is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additional front-end frameworks or libraries.
• Familiarity with back-end technologies and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
