About the position

SherlockTalent is seeking a hands-on Front End Developer to join our client in Miami, Florida. This role is crucial for the design and development of innovative product solutions utilizing technologies such as Java, Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The developer will be responsible for creating user interfaces, analyzing software requirements, and documenting technical specifications for web applications and services. Additionally, the role involves interacting with mobile applications and improving existing systems based on user feedback and internal assessments. The candidate must be comfortable working in a Scrum environment and using tools like JIRA to manage tasks and projects efficiently. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and stakeholders throughout the development cycles.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of product solutions using Java, Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Write interfaces to existing systems and interact with mobile applications.
• Analyze software requirements and document technical specifications for web applications and services.
• Develop strong User Interfaces and improve existing system functionalities based on user feedback.
• Document all coding work performed on existing and new systems.
• Follow industry best practices in software development.
• Work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with team members for broader project goals.
• Plan and execute milestones for various projects during different development cycles.
• Meet with team members and managers to discuss ongoing or new projects.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Angular 2 and above is required.
• Extensive experience with NGRX code pattern.
• Proficiency in HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Scrum environment.
• Experience with JIRA for project management.
• Ability to write interfaces to existing systems.
• Strong analytical skills for software requirements and technical documentation.
• Expertise in User Interface development.
• Experience in analyzing existing systems for functionality improvements.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Java development experience or ability to read Java code is a big plus.
