About the position

Robert Half Technology is seeking an experienced Front-end Developer to create modern, seamless websites and applications. This role involves collaborating with creative directors, designers, and backend developers to ensure that internal websites are visually impressive and functionally robust. The developer will be responsible for translating UX/UI designs into code, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and adherence to accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with back-end developers, creative directors, and designers to help create modern websites and apps.
• Translate web designs into functional front-end code while enhancing aesthetics.
• Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
• Apply UX/UI design principles to website design and development.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and modern web development techniques.
• Ensure websites are optimized for maximum speed.
• Implement accessibility standards in web development.
• Develop emails compatible with various email platforms.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of front-end development experience with a strong background in creative development.
• Portfolio showcasing front-end development skills and web design knowledge.
• Attention to detail in developing high-end, modern web designs.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery.
• Experience with browser testing, QA, and debugging.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
• Proficiency with design software like InDesign, Photoshop, and Figma.
• Experience with various Content Management Systems including WordPress and Shopify.
• Experience developing emails for different email clients.
• Curiosity and a proactive approach to learning new skills and techniques in front-end development.
