About the position

The Front End Developer role is focused on creating and maintaining user-facing features for web applications. The position requires strong technical skills in Angular and Node, along with experience in AEM and REST API consumption. The developer will work closely with the team to implement new features, ensure code quality, and participate in agile ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing features using Angular and Node.
• Integrate AEM into applications as needed.
• Adopt new tools and integrate them into the application.
• Consume REST APIs effectively in application development.
• Utilize GraphQL and cloud technologies when applicable.
• Write unit tests and UI tests as part of the pull request process.
• Develop applications using HTML5, CSS, Less, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Replace HTML inputs with standard components like text boxes and date pickers.
• Collaborate with the team lead to implement new features.
• Report daily status in stand-up meetings.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming and retrospectives.
• Follow code quality and review standards.
• Maintain the status of tasks on the Kanban board.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and education.
• Strong experience in Angular and Node.
• Good experience in AEM.
• Self-motivated and quick learner.
• Strong knowledge of consuming REST APIs.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming and associated coding standards.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and best coding practices.
• Experience developing applications with HTML5, CSS, Less, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge in GraphQL and experience using cloud technologies.
