About the position

We are seeking a talented Front-End Developer for a long-term contract position in Lisle, Illinois. This role is essential for our ongoing digital transformation efforts, where the successful candidate will contribute to projects that enhance our customer sales experience. The position is hybrid, allowing for a mix of remote and on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the digital transformation project by developing and implementing innovative front-end solutions
• Collaborate with the entire development team to ensure seamless integration of front-end elements with backend systems
• Develop and test cross-platform applications to ensure a consistent user experience across various devices
• Use expertise with Next.js and React to create interactive UI components for digital platforms
• Participate in Agile Scrum meetings, providing valuable feedback and suggestions to improve processes
• Aid in reducing technical debt by implementing efficient, scalable solutions
• Participate in testing to validate the performance and usability of new features and updates
• Manage API development tasks to enhance the functionality of digital platforms
• Continually update knowledge and skills related to front end development to stay current with industry trends and advancements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Cross-Platform development
• Experience with testing and data interpretation
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
• Proficient in API Development
• Knowledge of .NET framework
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in Next.js and React frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong understanding of user interface and user experience principles
• Familiarity with version control systems
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
