About the position

The Front End Developer will provide support for Knowledge Management (KM) and web development to enhance information sharing and business processes within the USSTRATCOM J2 organization. The role involves improving digital production, automating data collection and dissemination, and enhancing website functionality to support intelligence processes critical to various Department of Defense (DoD) organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide A&AS support for Knowledge Management and web development.
• Improve digital production and business processes for USSTRATCOM J2.
• Automate collection, organization, dissemination, visualization, and archival of USSTRATCOM J2 products.
• Support intelligence processes for near-term, mid-term, and far-term efforts.
• Conduct customer surveys to gather feedback and requirements for process improvement.
• Provide training and documentation for existing and new applications.

Requirements

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert in Data Analysis and Front-End Development.
• Experience supporting office and business process automation using tools like O365.
• Minimum three (3) years experience creating and reorganizing websites for information sharing.
• Experience with SharePoint 2019 / O365 development and troubleshooting existing code.
• Cumulative experience of five (5) years creating custom code using HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, JSON, REST calls, and jQuery.
• Experience with SharePoint roles, permissions, taxonomy, and infrastructure design.
• Experience performing administrative duties in a joint environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Information Management (IM) / KM intelligence tools and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical theories to senior officials.
