About the position

We are seeking a skilled Front End Developer to join our team at GIM Property Management, LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with in web applications. You will collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to enhance usability and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, while optimizing applications for speed and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing features using front-end technologies
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement responsive web design
• Work with RESTful APIs

Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and React JavaScript
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub
• Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms
• Experience with Node.js is a plus
• Ability to create clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in front-end development for 2 years
• Ability to work with RESTful APIs
