About the position

System One Holdings, LLC is seeking a skilled Front End Developer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of high-traffic marketing campaign websites, utilizing your expertise in various Content Management Systems such as Tridion and AEM. You will work extensively with markup languages including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and React to create engaging and user-friendly web experiences. Your responsibilities will also include creating, documenting, and maintaining custom CSS styling libraries and reusable JavaScript components to ensure consistency and efficiency across our web projects. Accessibility is a key focus of this position. You will be tasked with maintaining compliance with WCAG Accessibility Guidelines, which involves creating and maintaining both technical and non-technical accessibility documentation. You will conduct thorough accessibility reviews using tools such as Axe devTools and Wave Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool, as well as performing manual tests to ensure high contrast, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and text zoom functionality. In addition to development and accessibility, you will design methodologies and tools that bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation. This includes translating design challenges into effective code solutions that enhance user experience, usability, and the overall ergonomics of dynamic websites. You will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into functional code, utilizing design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, and Figma. As a Front End Developer, you will provide technical advice and implementation support by coordinating the development team’s efforts and technical strategy for high-level marketing campaigns. You will offer guidance on design and code standards, development best practices, ergonomics, user experience, and accessibility. Additionally, you will triage and oversee developer capacity and resourcing, and consult with both internal and external agencies on approaches for digital page development.

Responsibilities

• Design methodologies and tools to bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation.
• Translate design challenges to code solutions to enhance user experience, usability, and ergonomics of dynamic websites.

• Provide technical advice and implementation support to the development team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, or a foreign equivalent.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Front End Developer or a substantially similar position.
