About the position

The Front-End Software Developer position focuses on developing and enhancing user interfaces for web applications. The role requires expertise in modern web technologies and frameworks, particularly Vue.js, and involves collaboration within Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance user interfaces for web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, and HTML.
• Utilize the Vue.js framework to create dynamic and responsive web applications.
• Collaborate with Agile teams using methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Create and manage REST calls using Node.js libraries, including Express.js or Axios.
• Support and mentor junior and mid-level engineers in their development tasks.
• Design and implement new user interface features based on project requirements.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Work with REST APIs to integrate front-end applications with back-end services.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly preferred or a willingness to obtain a CI poly.
• Experience in front-end web development with JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, or HTML.
• Proficiency in the Vue.js framework.
• Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies, including SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Experience in creating REST calls using Node.js libraries such as Express.js or Axios.
• Ability to support junior and mid-level engineers.
• Experience in designing new user interface features.
• Knowledge of unit testing practices and methodologies.
• Understanding of REST APIs.
