About the position

We are looking for a skilled Front End Developer to join our team in the Printing/Publishing industry on a short-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in React.js and Next.js, focusing on developing user-facing features and optimizing applications for performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing features using React.js and Next.js
• Build efficient and reusable front-end systems and abstractions
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Manage and communicate with clients to deliver on their requirements
• Use Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking
• Develop new user-facing features as per established requirements
• Ensure all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
• Collaborate with other team members to understand and implement complex business requirements.

Requirements

• Proficient in React.js and Next.js
• Experience with Atlassian Jira
• Solid understanding of the publishing industry and its digital requirements
• Ability to translate UI/UX design wireframes into actual code
• Proven experience in optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks
• Familiarity with front-end build tools
• Proficiency in code versioning tools
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
