About the position

The position is for a front-end developer with a strong focus on JavaScript, responsive design, and WCAG 2.0 compliance. The developer will support Development and Maintenance programs, collaborating with project managers, application owners, and resource managers within an agile development team. The role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, application owners, and resource managers to organize work.
• Develop, test, and deploy code as part of an agile development team.
• Build user interfaces and responsive applications in compliance with ADA and WCAG 2.0 standards.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to create effective user interfaces.
• Implement reusable UI components and front-end libraries.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with React.js.
• 5 years of experience with HTML5 and CSS frameworks, including Bootstrap.
• 5 years of experience with ADA, WCAG 2.0, and Section 508 compliance policies.
• 5 years of experience programming application user interfaces using current JavaScript/Front-end frameworks.
• 4 years of experience with the Spring framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Data.
• 4 years of experience with Java 8.
• 4 years of experience programming with Oracle 19C.
• 4 years of experience participating in an Agile development environment.

Nice-to-haves

• 4 years of experience programming in SQL and/or PL/SQL.
• 4 years of experience programming in the JBOSS Enterprise environment.
• 4 years of experience programming with Log4j, Junit, and Tiles.
• 4 years of experience programming with Crystal Reports and/or Business Objects.
