This role involves collaborating with creative directors, designers, and backend developers to ensure that internal websites are visually impressive and functionally robust, while also adhering to best practices in web development and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with back-end developers, creative directors, and designers to help create modern websites and apps.
• Transform web designs into functional front-end code, ensuring aesthetic alignment and offering enhancement ideas.
• Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting tasks.
• Utilize UX/UI design principles to inform website design and development.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and modern web development techniques.
• Optimize sites for maximum speed and performance.
• Implement accessibility standards in web development.
• Develop emails compatible with various email platforms.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of front-end development experience with a strong background in creative development.
• Portfolio showcasing front-end development skills and web design knowledge.
• Attention to detail in developing high-end, modern web designs.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery.
• Experience with browser testing, QA, and debugging.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
• Proficiency with design software like InDesign, Photoshop, and Figma.
• Experience with various Content Management Systems including WordPress and Shopify.
• Experience developing emails for different email clients.
• Curiosity and a proactive approach to learning new skills and techniques in interactive development.
