About the position

We are looking for a skilled Front End Developer to join our team in the Printing/Publishing industry. This short-term contract role is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and requires expertise in React.js and Next.js to address challenges related to ad tech and JavaScript loading. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing user-facing features and ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs while optimizing applications for performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing features using React.js and Next.js
• Build efficient and reusable front-end systems and abstractions
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Manage and communicate with clients to deliver on their requirements
• Use Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking
• Develop new user-facing features as per established requirements
• Ensure all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
• Collaborate with other team members to understand and implement complex business requirements.

Requirements

• Proficient in React.js and Next.js
• Experience with Atlassian Jira
• Solid understanding of the publishing industry and its digital requirements
• Ability to translate UI/UX design wireframes into actual code
• Proven experience in optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks
• Familiarity with front-end build tools
