About the position

We are seeking a talented Front-End Web Developer to join our High Net Worth business team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about merging design with programming to create visually appealing and highly functional web applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into actual code that produces the visual elements of the application. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, actively participating in both aspects to define how the application looks and functions. In this position, you will develop new user-facing features and build reusable code and libraries for future use. You will ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Additionally, you will validate all user input before submitting it to the back-end, ensuring a seamless user experience. Collaboration with other team members and stakeholders is essential, as is mentoring junior team members to foster their growth and development in the field. This role requires a strong understanding of web markup, CSS pre-processing platforms, and client-side scripting. You will be expected to stay updated with the latest web technologies and best practices to ensure that our applications are not only functional but also adhere to SEO principles and cross-browser compatibility standards.

Requirements

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient in server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Proficient in Responsive web design framework, including bootstrap, google material etc.
• Proficient in Client side framework Angular 5.0 to build optimized code for web
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image
• Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
• Good understanding of ES5 and ES6 standards
