About the position

Armada is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Front-End Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the Control Plane User Experience for managing and monitoring edge devices. This role is crucial in bridging the digital divide by providing advanced technology infrastructure that can be rapidly deployed in remote areas. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in UI/UX design and front-end programming, contributing to the development of scalable systems that process data visually between on-premise and cloud systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement systems that can scale to manipulate and process data visually between heterogeneous on-premise and cloud systems.
• Collaborate with UX and Product teams to create UI components for user workflows and metrics.
• Develop standardized UI components and tools to build UI efficiently.
• Conduct unit testing and apply test-driven development practices.
• Work with REST APIs to integrate front-end applications with back-end services.
• Contribute ideas to improve team productivity and code delivery.
• Work effectively within distributed teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of front-end development experience including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
• Solid background in UI/UX design and front-end programming.
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Ability to design and implement scalable systems.
