About the position

System One Holdings, LLC is seeking a skilled Front End Developer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is pivotal in the development of high-traffic marketing campaign websites, where you will leverage your expertise in various Content Management Systems, including Tridion and AEM. The ideal candidate will be proficient in markup languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and React, and will be responsible for creating, documenting, and maintaining custom CSS styling libraries and reusable JavaScript components. In addition to web development, the Front End Developer will ensure that all web content adheres to accessibility standards. This includes utilizing the WCAG Accessibility Guidelines, creating and maintaining both technical and non-technical accessibility documentation, and conducting thorough accessibility reviews using tools like Axe devTools and Wave Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool. Manual testing methods such as high contrast checks, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and text zoom will also be part of your responsibilities. The role requires a strong focus on design methodologies and tools, bridging the gap between graphic design and technical implementation. You will translate design challenges into effective code solutions that enhance user experience, usability, and the overall ergonomics of dynamic websites. This includes translating UI/UX design wireframes into functional code and utilizing design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, and Figma. As a Front End Developer, you will provide technical advice and implementation support by coordinating development team efforts and technical strategies for high-level marketing campaigns. You will guide design and code standards, development best practices, ergonomics, user experience, and accessibility. Additionally, you will triage and oversee developer capacity and resources, consulting with both internal and external agencies on approaches for digital page development.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, or a foreign equivalent.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Front End Developer or a substantially similar position.
