About the position

Breeez, Inc. is seeking a Front-end Developer to join their expanding team in Charlotte, NC. This role is ideal for a mid-level developer with at least 2 years of experience who is eager to contribute to a busy digital marketing agency. The Front-end Developer will be responsible for coding WordPress themes from scratch based on UX-focused designs, collaborating with internal teams, and enhancing client websites with additional functionality.

Responsibilities

• Code WordPress themes from scratch based on UX-focused Figma designs.
• Utilize HTML, PHP, JavaScript, Tailwind, and Twig & Timber to build sites to specification and deadline.
• Work on content marketing projects to add value and functionality to existing client sites.
• Handle support tickets from clients and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain internal systems and project updates in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a front-end developer in an industry or agency setting.
• Proficiency in WordPress development beyond visual page builders.
• Strong skills in HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and APIs.
• Experience with Figma and UX design principles.
• Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with WooCommerce and/or Shopify Liquid theming.
• Familiarity with Twig and Timber templating engines.
• Experience working with third-party APIs.
