About the position

The Front-End Development Analyst position at the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) involves performing specialized professional work in IT web applications services. The role includes coordinating, planning, analyzing, developing, testing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining web applications and websites. The analyst will serve as a project lead on average complexity projects and as a developer on smaller assignments, while also participating in the evaluation of new application requests and related technology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, conduct, plan, analyze, evaluate designs, develop, test, document, implement, and maintain web applications and websites.
• Serve as a project lead on average complexity projects across multiple agencies and locations.
• Participate in the evaluation of new application/website requests and related technology.
• Provide user support for assigned applications/websites.
• Keep abreast of new developments in the IT field through continuing education and training.

Requirements

• Knowledge equivalent to four years of college with coursework in computer science or related fields.
• One year of professional experience in Web Services or a related IT field.
• One year of professional experience with application development.
• One year of professional experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Campaign, and Adobe Forms.
• One year of professional experience with Java, jQuery, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL Reporting Services.
• One year of professional experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
