Aleut Federal is seeking a Front-End Developer with expertise in Drupal to join our Technology Services Group. This position is fully remote and offers a competitive salary of approximately $130,000, depending on experience. As a Front-End Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing accessible and well-designed front-end user interfaces for federal government websites. You will collaborate with an integrated design and development team to redesign and develop existing websites, translating interface designs and process flows into standards-based and accessible code. Your contributions will directly support our mission of providing excellent service and quality results to our clients, which include various branches of the federal government. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with clients, design, and development teams to provide guidance on front-end theming. You will develop the front-end user interface and integrate it into the pattern library. Conducting code peer reviews and collaborating with back-end developers and testers will be essential to ensure the quality and functionality of the code. You will also determine requirements, create user stories, estimate levels of effort, and keep tickets updated in Jira, actively participating in all scrum ceremonies. Testing, merging, and committing code will be part of your daily tasks, along with participating in client meetings to discuss user stories and recommend solutions.
