This position in the AWS Developer Experience team presents a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help shape the product experience of a new service for developers. Responsibilities

• Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences.
• Work closely with other engineers to architect and develop the best technical design.
• Develop/maintain operational rigor for the frontend of a new AWS service.
• Own and deliver key features within a new interactive developer-focused experience.
• Collaborate with other AWS SDEs for features that cut across AWS.
• Engage with customers and other AWS partners.
• Optimize performance, accessibility, and maintainability of the platform's front-end components.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience.
• 2+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience.
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of agile software development methodology experience.
• Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.
