About the position

The Front End Engineer position within Amazon's Customer Data & Experience group focuses on building innovative solutions for the Amazon Marketing Cloud product. The role involves collaborating with software development engineers and Tech Integration partners to enhance the ecosystem around the product, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to process vast amounts of behavioral data. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer science fundamentals and a passion for developing scalable software systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software development engineers and Tech Integration partners to build innovative solutions.
• Develop front-end applications using NextJS and ReactJS.
• Work on back-end systems using Kotlin and AWS technologies.
• Ingest and process billions of behavioral signals daily to enhance user experiences.
• Simplify complex problems and tackle challenging technical issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional front end, web or mobile software development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• 2+ years of experience creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows.
• Experience with MVC/MVM frameworks such as NextJS, React.JS, AngularJS, or Vue.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST.
• Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
