About the position

The Sr Frontend Engineer will be responsible for creating, designing, and testing web components, particularly using Stencil.js. This role involves collaborating with team members, developing new components, resolving defects, conducting code reviews, and managing support tickets to ensure user satisfaction and the stability of applications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in periodic team stand-ups to discuss task progress and align on goals.
• Engage in the development of new web components and enhancements within the design system team.
• Prioritize and address high-priority defects to ensure application stability and performance.
• Conduct thorough reviews and testing of pull requests to maintain code quality.
• Promptly address and resolve support tickets from end-users.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years experience as a Senior UI engineer.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• Extensive experience in frontend development using frameworks such as React, Angular, .Net, Java Spring, Java Struts, Bootstrap, Sharepoint, Salesforce, Pega, PowerApps or ServiceNow.
• Demonstrated ability in designing, developing, and testing frontend web components, especially with Stencil.js.
• Extensive experience developing and maintaining a design system built on web components utilizing Stencil and Storybook.
• Profound knowledge of CSS and SCSS, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and responsive styles.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills for contributing technical direction and mentoring others.

• Experience mentoring end users and aiding them in integrating the custom-built User Experience framework.
