About the position
The Full Stack Engineer position at a profitable Series B startup focuses on building and maintaining end-to-end product experiences within an agile software environment. The role involves collaborating with a dedicated product team to develop new features and enhance existing ones for a consumer-facing application that serves millions of users monthly. The ideal candidate will have experience with a diverse tech stack, including React, Redux, Golang, and PostgreSQL, and will contribute to the architectural standards and deployment processes of the software.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other engineers to develop and maintain new and existing features in the host management platform.
- Maintain and implement web-based tools for dynamic webpage creation.
- Design and develop maintainable, reliable, and scalable enterprise-level, services-based software.
- Leverage experience with React, Redux, GraphQL, and Go (or Python or Node.JS) to extend a stateful web application and underlying services.
- Adhere to and develop architectural standards within an SOA environment.
- Design and implement consistent, high-throughput, low-latency APIs while balancing trade-offs between consistency and availability.
- Deploy regular code releases to production and test environments in Agile release cycles.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer in an established codebase or a combination of frontend and backend experience.
- Proficiency with core technologies: React, GraphQL, Golang, and PostgreSQL.
- Ability to partner with other engineers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with web infrastructure, distributed systems, and performance analysis.
- Knowledge of developing RESTful APIs and maintaining SLAs.
