This contract role offers a strong possibility of extension and will require working a hybrid schedule, with 2-3 days onsite per week. As a Front End Java Developer, you will work on a cutting-edge web platform, gaining exposure to various Capital Markets businesses at a major global bank. Your responsibilities will include coding, unit testing, code reviews, and implementing release changes. You will build experience working in global development teams, delivering high-quality work that consistently meets requirements and standards while planning and prioritizing effectively. You will also be involved in system/component design and implementation with counterparts globally, taking ownership to resolve difficult issues, even when they are not clearly within your area of responsibility. Strong communication skills are essential as you will need to work closely with peer developers in a global team.
