About the position

The position involves providing day-to-day support for all operations within the Front End department, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures while promoting core values such as respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. The role requires flexibility in working hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, particularly during peak times. The individual will focus on enhancing customer service and operational efficiency in the Front End and related areas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support of all Front End department operations, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
  • Ensure safe, effective, and efficient customer service is provided throughout the department.
  • Explore and develop more effective and efficient processes, policies, and procedures for Front End, Customer Service Center, and Accounting.
  • Design a cleaner, more efficient working environment for Front End, Customer Service, and Accounting.
  • Improve Shopping Experience Progress Report, Customer Tracker, Associate Tracker, Cash Over/Short, CCG, ELMS utilization, Customer Comment Cards, FES Evaluations, Bob Audits, and Key Retailing Measurements.
  • Provide training, support, and follow-up on all aspects of Key Retailing.
  • Coach and train customer service manager and front end supervisors.
  • Support store management and customer service manager in maintaining a well-organized, clean, pleasant shopping environment at various locations.
  • Follow through on special assignments and perform any and all duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Store retail experience with an emphasis on customer service and front-end operations.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to learn a wide range of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ACE, Supersked, etc.
  • Understanding of all key components of department operations such as managing people, merchandising, inventory management, shrink control, customer service, labor scheduling, and expense control.
  • Past work record must exhibit a high level of integrity and dependability.
