About the position
The Front End Loader Operator is responsible for operating a front loader and other heavy equipment to support the operations of Delaware Valley Concrete. This role involves ensuring the hopper is filled, monitoring aggregate deliveries, and maintaining yard cleanliness. The ideal candidate will be committed to customer service and teamwork, with opportunities for growth within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Operate the front loader and other heavy equipment as needed.
- Ensure the hopper is adequately filled with materials.
- Monitor coarse and fine aggregate deliveries to meet yardage demands.
- Maintain cleanliness of the yard and washout settling basin.
- Support the Plant Manager and Batch Operator as required.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience operating a front loader and other heavy equipment is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
