About the position

The Front End Product Developer / Designer role at a well-known Financial Services Company in San Francisco is a long-term contract opportunity focused on media production. The position involves collaborating with various teams to deliver high-quality digital communications and interactive experiences using coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The role requires a strong understanding of media production challenges and the ability to manage complex design solutions while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Media Production.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Media Production challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Media Production deliverables.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Media Production.
• Execute flawless digital communications built in code-based web design languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Build and deliver flawless interactive experiences.
• Builds/edits web pages, emails, paid media placements, page components, etc. using HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap, and similar technologies.
• Maintain and optimize component libraries.
• Create/expand reusable libraries of code and design components to enhance overall team speed and consistency.
• Apply critical thinking to solve for future needs and account for up- and down-stream processes.
• Proactively communicate status and estimate delivery times.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Media Production experience or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
• 5+ years of experience in an advertising agency interactive production studio designer Front-End development position or equivalent.
• Experience coding in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript development environments.
• Experience using Git/GitHub, Jira, Confluence.
• Demonstrated experience in platforms like WordPress and Salesforce.
• Proven familiarity with accessibility (a11y) best practices and WCAG 2.1 Level AAA compliance.
• Advertising Agency and/or PR Agency experience as a Front-End Web Developer working with Advertising Agency web building teams.
• Experienced with front-end editing in WordPress, Salesforce, AEM, and similar platforms.
• Understands and applies tracking codes accurately across campaign elements.
• Comfortable solving for complex designs, inclusive of rich media.
• Proven ability to manage high volumes using smart practices to maintain consistency and uncompromising quality.
