About the position

The Front-End Software Developer at Innova Solutions, Inc. is responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining software architectures and systems. This role involves integrating software components, managing software projects, and ensuring that software meets specified requirements through rigorous testing and documentation. The position requires a strong understanding of front-end technologies and collaboration with back-end teams to create efficient and functional software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems.
• Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system.
• Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.
• Performs software project management and software supplier management functions.
• Develops, selects, tailors and deploys software processes, tools and metrics.
• Executes and documents software research and development projects.
• Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations.
• Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards.
• Works under general direction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Proficient in Javascript frameworks such as React, Angular, Next, and Node.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and CSS styling frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.).
• Experience in testing front-end applications.
• Ability to coordinate API calls with back-end teams for efficient rendering.
• Familiarity with REST and GraphQL systems.
• Experience in creating React fragments, SPAs, and dynamic webpages.
• Knowledge of Javascript build tools and authentication strategies.
• Understanding of server-side and client-side rendering.
• Ability to generate UML documentation for traceability from design to implementation.
• Effective communication skills for cross-team coordination.
• Experience in developing front-end architectures.
