At Five Below, the Front End Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that the store delivers an exceptional customer experience. This position is centered around the core purpose of the company, which is to create a fun and engaging shopping environment. The Front End Supervisor is responsible for leading the front-end operations of the store, which includes training the staff on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, ensuring that every customer interaction is fast and friendly. The supervisor will work closely with associates and managers to maintain high customer service scores as set by the District Manager. In addition to customer service, the Front End Supervisor is tasked with overseeing front-end merchandising, ensuring that products such as candy, soda, and snacks are displayed according to brand standards. This includes managing the candy ordering process to maintain appropriate inventory levels. The supervisor is also responsible for the store's opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that the store is always ready for customers. In the absence of the store manager, the Front End Supervisor will perform managerial duties, which include recruiting, training, coaching, and supervising associates. The role requires a proactive approach to driving store sales and controlling expenses, including managing cash handling procedures and authorizing register functions. The Front End Supervisor will collaborate with the store leadership team on merchandising and recovery efforts, while also adhering to all company policies and procedures.
