About the position

Peraton Labs is seeking a Front-End UI Developer to join our Network Systems team in College Park, Maryland. In this role, you will work collaboratively with team members and directly with our customers to create compelling and user-friendly applications across various projects. The position demands a creative and passionate individual who is eager to improve processes and learn new technologies. You will be challenged to utilize and enhance your skills in a fast-paced environment, building interfaces for a diverse set of applications. As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.js. You will also work with RESTful APIs to integrate front-end components with back-end services. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will need to collaborate effectively with both the internal team and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, able to manage tasks effectively, and possess a strong technical background in front-end development. This position requires full-time on-site work at the College Park facility, and candidates must hold an active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Network Systems team to develop user-friendly applications.
• Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create compelling user interfaces.
• Work with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.js.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end services using RESTful APIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience (7 years total if no degree).
• Three (3) years of experience in application prototype development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a professional environment.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.js.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/Typescript syntax and semantics.
• Experience utilizing RESTful API web services in front-end development.
• Basic understanding of NoSQL/SQL languages.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Python programming language.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks.
• Experience in design, development, testing, verification, and certification of operational software.
