About the position

As a Front-End UI/UX Developer, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing the front-end of our SaMD product. This role involves close collaboration with UI/UX designers to translate design requirements into functional applications, ensuring a seamless user experience. You will work with business and project stakeholders to build, test, and deploy high-quality web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Work closely with web designers to understand UI/UX requirements and translate them into functional components.
  • Engage with business and project stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
  • Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure they meet performance, usability, and security standards.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code changes and collaborate with other developers.
  • Maintain clear documentation of development processes, code, and project requirements to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in front-end development and contribute innovative ideas to enhance product functionality and user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a front-end developer, preferably in the healthcare or medical technology industry.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and web accessibility standards.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Selenium) for front-end applications.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices and SaMD (e.g., FDA, ISO) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
